Welcome!

Balancing family and career isn’t always easy.

If you’re looking to return to work after a family-related career break, make a career change, or achieve a better work-life balance—then you’ve come to the right place! We’re here to advise you if you want to return to work or reorient your career path.

We support all women in the Hanover region with free counseling sessions and a wide range of continuing education opportunities as they re-enter the workforce. All our consultations take place in a confidential setting.

The Coordination Office for Women and Work is a recognized counseling center dedicated to the professional and workplace advancement of women in the Hanover region. We see ourselves as a link between the job market, continuing education providers, and women living in the Hanover region, and we support women returning to work, employees on parental leave, and women seeking a career change on their path (back) into the workforce.

Feedback from our counseling

"At a time when society expects women to work as if they had no children and to care for their children as if they weren’t working, the Co-Stelle steps in where women* feel stuck. It offers, on the one hand, a supportive and encouraging environment and, on the other, concrete tools for continuing education and finding support." Johanna Prien-Kaplan (read the full feedback)
